SUMMARY:Woodstock Truck'n Food Show

Winners are determined by popular votes.\n\nPRE-REGIRSTRATION: $40Contact Leigha at woodstocktrucknshow@gmail.com for registration\, sponsorship\, vendor contracts or any questions!\n\n*Proceeds from your fun-filled day will go towards updating the McHenry County Fairgrounds Building D bathrooms to be ADA compliant.\n\nDRIVERS\n\n\nRegistration is open FRIDAY 4-9pm or SATURDAY 6-11:30am. All trucks must be parked before noon. Registration will be around gate 3 (more signage will be out). This will be where pre-registrants and people that are showing up to register\, will finalize their payments. I’m hoping to have 2 different lines for those that have pre-registered so that way you can just pay your money\, get your packet and be on your way to your spot. Unfortunately\, after the first section of the entrance\, the rest is gravel until you get back up towards the livestock barns. This is a wash and show event\, so nothing has to be perfect\, however you have been warned. Once you’ve gone through registration\, you’ll follow the signs to get you to where there will be volunteers guiding you on where to park. Please listen to them as there is a certain way we’d like to try parking trucks for this first year. If there is an issue\, please let me know. If you’d like to be parked by/with someone\, please try to arrive with them so you can be parked at the same time. There will be a couple food vendors there in the morning\, however the rest of them will not be there and ready until closer to noon.\n\n\nRegistration: In your registration packet is going to be an intro letter\, a survey\, your wristbands and voting cards.\n\nAwards: As a reminder\, this is a People’s Choice event\, you (as people) are allowed to vote for your favorite! Everything is color coded so all you have to do is find your favorite overall and best display of lights for each color (except for Yellow\, there is only a best of class award for the antiques!!!) You write the number of your favorite on the line and that’s it!! Awards will be done around 9pm\, during the intermission of the final band\, Wild Fire. There will be an announcement made around 8:30pm for the final call to get your votes in.\n\nTickets: Driver plus 1 get in with their registration. All other family members or crew must purchase admission tickets! Admission tickets will be cash only on site. You can buy them online with a credit/debit card. All alcohol sales are cash OR card and will be handled at the beer tent only. I am unsure what the food vendors will use\, if they will do cash or card\, please be prepared for either\, we are in the process of getting an ATM for onsite.\n\nAs this is a family event\, I am encouraging you and your family to set up “camp” for the day. Please feel free to bring a 10×10 easy up (no larger please) and your chairs to set up by your truck(s) and enjoy the day with your family and friends. Large outside coolers are PROHIBITED. Please do not bring them on to the event area. If you are camping\, please keep all of your large coolers up in the camping area.\n\nCamping: Camping is available for $35/night for Friday and/or Saturday night(s) for water and electric hookup. LIMITED SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE! $15/night for no services. We are not a regular campground therefore we do NOT have dumping services available onsite. There is absolutely NO DUMPING of your grey or black water tanks on site. There is a $250 fine if you do so.\n\nGolf Carts: Golf carts are allowed for the volunteers and anyone who is camping and has registered their vehicle with me. There is not a fee for bringing your golf cart\, but please know that you must have valid insurance on the vehicle\, only people older than the age of 16 are allowed to drive\, and you MUST follow the golf cart route in order to prevent any accidents happening with the spectators. Please message me if you have any questions on camping or golf carts.
