Winter Storage

McHenry County Fair has the extra space you need.

You can store your boat, car or RV at the McHenry County Fairgrounds all Winter. Winter storage solves issues with parking space limitations, neighborhood parking ordinances and keeps your vehicle out of the harsh winter weather. Boats, campers, travel trailers, cars etc. are $22.00 per foot (include hitch) for indoor storage for the winter and $16.00 per foot for outdoor/undercover storage for the winter.

McHenry County Fair offers winter storage spaces to accommodate your RV, trailer, boat or car that is up to 12 feet in height. We have one building and an outdoor undercover area that will accommodate vehicles up to 14 feet in height (these areas fill up fast). These spaces include enclosed, covered and undercover storage spaces. All fairground storage facilities are unheated. Your vehicle should be winterized before bringing it into winter storage. We have the right vehicle storage for you, whether you have an RV, trailer, boat, car, pickup truck, ATV, project car, motorcycle or other vehicle we can store it for you.

STORAGE IN: Drop off is on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 8 am to 1 pm or Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 8 am to 11 am.

STORAGE OUT: Pick up is on Friday, April 14, 2023, from noon to 6 pm or Saturday, April 16, 2023, from 8 am to 11 am pm.

Space does fill up, so you want to book your space early. Please contact the fair office for a Winter Storage Contract to reserve your spot for Winter Storage for the 2022-2023 season. WE REQUEST A $50 DEPOSIT AND COMPLETED CONTRACT TO RESERVE YOU SPACE AND FULL PAYMENT WHEN VEHICLE IS STORED.
