Round Bale Rumble

Team Composition

• Teams may consist of 2 to 4 competitors.
• All team members must register prior to the event.
• Competitors may only compete on one team.
• Teams will compete within their designated age/gender division.

Competition Format

• The event will use a single-elimination tournament bracket.
• Teams compete head-to-head in parallel lanes.
• The first team to roll their bale completely across the finish line advances.
• The losing team is eliminated.
• Championship rounds determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

The Course

• Each team will be assigned one lane.
• Each lane contains one official round bale.
• Teams must keep their bale within their designated lane.
• Crossing into another lane may result in a penalty or disqualification.

Moving the Bale

• The bale must be moved only by pushing with your body.
• Competitors may push from any position behind the bale.
• Pulling, dragging, riding, or carrying the bale is prohibited.
• No ropes, straps, tools, machinery, or mechanical assistance may be used.
• Teams may reposition themselves during the race.

Safety

• Closed-toe shoes are required.
• Gloves are strongly recommended.
• Participants should wear clothing suitable for strenuous activity.
• Any competitor displaying unsafe behavior may be disqualified.
• Event officials have final authority over all safety concerns.

Winning

A team wins when:

• Their entire bale crosses the finish line first.
• The finish will be determined by the leading edge of the bale completely crossing the finish line.
