Meet Wyatt!
Wyatt is one of our swine exhibitors. He thanks his dad for getting him into competing in livestock shows and got him his first pig 11 years ago. Wyatt has spent most of that time showing x-breed swine and competes in the junior, open, and 4-H swine exhibitions at the McHenry County Fair.
But that’s not all!
Wyatt also travels to the Illinois State Fair to show purebred Berkshire and Yorkshire swine and competes at the national livestock show in Louisville, KY. He also started showing steers in the last four years. He also comes from a big family of livestock exhibitionists. Both of his brothers also show swine, and his cousins show steer and sheep.
All-in-all, Wyatt is pretty busy for your average 17 year old, but according to him all the relationships and memories he’s made with family, friends, and breeders in the swine barn and on road trips make it all worth it.
