We are proud to announce our main Grandstand Events for the 2024 McHenry County Fair. This year’s main event concert is a performance by classic rock icons 38 Special, with special guest Tommy DeCarlo of Boston as the opening performer. Our newly added main acts include a Monster Truck Rally, Next Level Pro Bull Riding & Rodeo, ILLINI State Puller Tractor & Truck Pulls, and Demolition Derby by 4WD Promotions.

Grandstand Event Schedule
A list of all the events taking place at the McHenry County Fair Grandstands:
- Tuesday: Miss McHenry County Fair Queen Pageant
- Wednesday, 6 PM: Draft Horse Pulls
- Thursday, 7 PM: Monster Truck Rally
- Friday, 7 PM: Bull Riding
- Saturday, 9:30 PM: 38 Special concert and guest Tommy DeCarlo
- Sunday, 10 AM: Tractor & Truck Pulls
- Sunday, 6 PM: Demolition Derby

Main Event Tickets
An additional event ticket is required to attend the Monster Truck Rally, Bull Riding, Tractor & Truck Pulls, Demolition Derby, and 38 Special Concert. Attendees of these special Grandstand events also need to purchase a General Admission ticket to the McHenry County Fair.
Ticket Discounts
We have two different discount promotions going on through the remainder of April.
- SAVE10 for 10% off 38 Special concert tickets. Code expires April 30 at midnight.
- SAVE5 for $5 off all other Grandstand event tickets. Codes expires May 1 at midnight.
FREE Grandstand Events
Fairgoers do not need additional tickets to attend Tuesday’s Miss McHenry County Fair Queen Pageant, or Wednesday’s Draft Horse Pulls.

All 2024 general admission and Grandstand event tickets are available for sale now on the McHenry County Fair ticket page.
A general admission ticket gets you access the McHenry County Fair carnival, ability to view all of our exhibitions, and enjoy all of our general entertainment options. There are different ticket price options available for Adults, Children, and Seniors/Military. Save $2 per ticket with our pre-sale pricing.
For fairgoers to attend our Grandstand events they need an additional event ticket to each special event they intend to attend.
